What we've been up to.

As Devin would say, "cutest kid ever." Devin also calls this her Grandma outfit, but I like it.

Devin's Grandma turns 83 I believe. She had a stroke one week after Ava was born, and had to move into a nursing home. We miss having her and Grandpa so close.

Devin is the Scoutmaster for the 12-13 year olds. This is their latest campout.

Our Weekend in City of Rocks

We hiked around for a few hours. Devin's foot is injured so we didn't do any rock climbing.
Finally Devin got to carry her around for hours at a time. If only you could remove a pregnant belly like a back pack for a break.
We went with some friends that Devin used to work with. This is one of the best parts of City of Rocks, the big hot springs right outside of it. The first time we visited City of Rocks, it rained the whole day on Saturday. So we were in the hotsprings for 6 hours that day.

Dana and Brian visit!

Dana and Brian the happy newlyweds visited us, what a treat! We had a blast rock climbing, swimming and hanging out. Anyone who is reading this is welcome to visit too. And yes I will devote a whole post to you!

Happy Easter

I forgot to take a picture Easter morning...this will have to do for an Easter dress picture.

Devin said to me a week before Easter, "I bet if we got her close enough Ava could pick up an egg at the ward egg hunt." She didn't disappoint.

We were down in Utah for wedding 2 of 5 that we know of this year! This is a picture of Devin with his old roomies and friends.

Devin celebrated his 29th Birthday on the 6th. Happy Birthday my love! I put the cake in the deep freeze, hence why we needed the hunting knife to cut it.

We met up with Devin's friends from Highschool, Darren and Terry. We went bowling and had a blast. It was great to see you Terry, Darren and Nikkii!

Ok I'm a dork. I put Ava in her Halloween costume again. It fits her better now! I think she looks like a lost boy from Peter Pan.

Ava just hanging out being cute while mom gets ready. She is such a content baby. She sleeps 7-8 hours every night without waking. She loves watching her Baby Einstein videos and can't live without her swing. She only cries when she is hungry, and fusses when she needs a diaper change. Devin thinks this is normal for a baby. He'll be in shock when the second comes and actually acts like a baby

We were able to go visit my Grandpa Torres while in Salt Lake. Aren't they cute? Also for the trip it was Ava's first plane ride. She did great. A few people were shocked at the end of the flight to see a baby get off the plane....they had no idea she was there.
